Cypress TX, Newborn Photographer, Professional Prints vs. Digital Images
Updated: Feb 24, 2021
Yes, the world has changed; in many ways. We have digitized just about everything. Especially after Covid, businesses have learned that we can survive and continue on with the help of technology. So many things are becoming paperless. I get it..., it saves TIME, ENERGY and SPACE. But when we talk about out precious portraits, do we want them to be lost in TIME, do we not want to feel their ENERGY and do we not want them to occupy SPACE in our home and life?
You have taken the effort to plan a photo session and your photographer has delivered timeless images. Now it's time to showcase them! In fact, research has shown that children whose parents display family photographs in their home grow up with greater confidence and sense of belonging. Photography in the home reportedly makes children feel valued and gives them a rich understanding of where they come from.
As a professional photographer, all of your canvas prints are hand-made straight from our private label print lab, as well as folio mat boxes and additional art work. The monitor I edit your images is carefully calibrated for precise color to be combined with the specific print machine from my lab. It all works in synchrony to provide you with the highest quality and luxury products.
What happens when you view your images in digital format? Well, it all depends. Are you viewing them from a phone, a computer, did you send them by email? Did you know that images may loose resolution when they are sent electronically? When was the last time you calibrated your monitor? Will it "match" the exact settings from your photographers camera? No, it won't. The point is, digital images from your photographer are meant to be kept as backup. Allow your memories to live on forever with the expertise of your photographer; by all means, it is why you hired them in the first place :)
